In this paper a genetic algorithm (GA) based image
approximation algorithm is presented for black and white images.
The approximation uses a limited amount of triangles, where the
GA is used to optimize their shape and position. The formal
definitions, implementation details and test results are provided.
The algorithm can produce recognizable approximations in less
than 139 bytes.
