The great challenge of our time is monitoring
of the condition of our farm animals, which is made
possible by IoT technologies. This segment of agriculture
is called IoF, Internet of Farms. This article presents the
preliminary experiments in bolus sensor development.
Many physiological and behavioral characteristics of
cattle can be monitored by recording and analyzing data
from an external three-axis accelerometer placed on the
cattle’s body.
