Abstract
The rapid development of digital technologies is fundamentally transforming the educational and measurement processes of higher education institutions. In addition to traditional laboratory practices, increasing emphasis is being placed on the digital processing, evaluation, and archiving of measurement results, which not only ensures more accurate data management but also provides a more flexible and accessible learning environment for students. The monitoring and maintenance of optical fiber networks is of paramount importance in modern telecommunications and data transmission systems, as these systems provide the basis for services that require high bandwidth and reliability. The aim of this thesis is to digitize and integrate the measurement process of a traditional fiber optic monitoring system designed by me into the university's e-learning framework, the Moodle platform. Our work includes detailed research using various domestic and foreign sources, which shows how technical education has been transformed in the digital space due to the COVID pandemic, followed by a presentation of how the fiber monitoring measurement processes I have developed can be transferred to an online environment, discussing in detail the steps of digitization, technical implementation, and the challenges involved.
