Scarcity of financial resources is a problem across Europe. As countries and local authorities emerge from the economic and financial crisis, they have fewer resources to meet all their public obligations. This is why the COST 17125 project (Public Value Capture of Increasing Property Values) was set up, with the main objective of developing a common framework for value capture. Although a substantial database is available, it is not comparable due to differences. This paper attempts to compare Land Value Capture practices in 29 countries and draw conclusions.hu_HU
