The article contains the analysis of data from a dairy cattle rumen bolus experiment. The bolus contained a 3D accelerometer and a thermometer and was used to monitor a cow for 9 days. The frequency of drinking could be determined from the measured temperature data, checked on the basis of the control video recording. The monitoring of changes in the cow’s body temperature was also analyzed based on the measured data series.
