Mindfulness refers to focusing on the present moment and non judgemental awareness. It has become popular in Western society in recent decades, particularly under the influence of positive psychology, as it has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety and depression. Nowadays, we hear more and more about the importance of mindfulness in more and more areas. The world of business is no exception. Numerous international studies show the benefits of mindful presence at the level of individuals, groups, organisations and markets. Mindfulness training in the workplace promotes emotional intelligence and team dynamics. The practice of mindfulness is not just a stress management tool, but a way of life that improves managers' self-awareness, sense of responsibility and quality of relationships. In this paper, I would like to provide insights on how this method can be applied in leadership development to increase effectiveness.hu_HU
