In unit movement planning, evaluation is needed, especially for roads, bridges&#13;
(width, radius, load capacity, etc.) and the trafficability of the subject terrain. In the context&#13;
of vehicles – wheeled or tracked, the critical break occurs when the vehicles mire and the&#13;
convoy is stalled. Currently, robotic devices are often used. This trend is reflected in the&#13;
Army. That is why the trafficability of these devices needs to be investigated. Robots are&#13;
performing more demanding tasks and their ability to conquer, not only the terrain but also&#13;
inaccessible places, is important. The authors decided to examine the trafficability of small&#13;
robotic devices in low endurable terrain. To investigate, mathematical models were used to&#13;
determine the terrain trafficability for common military vehicles. The required parameters&#13;
for the tested robotic devices were used in the formulas. Experimental validation was&#13;
performed to determine the suitability of the mathematical methods. Comparison of the&#13;
mathematical results, with the values obtained by experiment, showed that the mathematic&#13;
methods for larger vehicles are also suitable for smaller tracked robotic devices. For&#13;
wheeled robotic devices, the match of the results was lower. The results show that current&#13;
mathematical procedures can be applied to robotic devices, however, further validation is&#13;
required.

Despite being questioned, absolute economic β -converge is a widely applied&#13;
method for investigating cohesion tendencies among EU regions. Corresponding data fur-&#13;
ther supports the application of the theory. Relying on our previous results the present&#13;
study utilizes MFV-robustified linear regression in order to identify over- and under-&#13;
performing regions. For this purpose regional GDP and NDI data of EU NUTS2 and&#13;
NUTS3 level regions are used from the time period of 2000-2020. Since underlying data&#13;
distributions have typically long tails, are highly skewed and contaminated by several&#13;
outliers robust statistical approaches are advised. The outlined procedure suggests that&#13;
economic convergence tendency among EU regions is less expressed than conventional β -&#13;
convergence would claim. Furthermore, by substituting mean values by ”Most Frequent&#13;
Values” introduced by Stener et. al. in corresponding calculations regions can be found to&#13;
be greatly deviating predicted by conventional convergence theories that would otherwise&#13;
be masked due to data characteristics.

Nowadays, it is becoming increasingly important to not only measure&#13;
environmental impacts, in terms of energy efficiency, but also, in terms of the quality of life.&#13;
We have developed an outdoor, low-cost environmental sensor that measures airborne dust&#13;
concentrate and other air parameters. Our goal is to perform high-resolution measurements,&#13;
based on hundreds of metering devices, to achieve full urban coverage. Using the data&#13;
measured and collected by the sensors, our second goal is to establish the intelligent building&#13;
management and settlement management systems and services. As the planned system will&#13;
consist of hundreds of nodes, its environmental impact and durability cannot be neglected.&#13;
Therefore, environmental planning is of paramount importance during the development.&#13;
When developing sensors, it is advisable to focus on the most important factors of ecological&#13;
design. During the life cycle analysis, the combined environmental impact of the nodes and&#13;
the network itself, must be examined.

The Flexible Job Shop Problem (FJSP) represents a significant challenge in the&#13;
field of planning due to its complexity and the constant need for problem-solving in the&#13;
market. It should be emphasized that FJSP is one of the most difficult NP problems in&#13;
combinatorial optimization. One of the key factors in maintaining the competitiveness of&#13;
small and medium enterprises in the market is increasing productivity while minimizing costs&#13;
and manufacturing time. This paper proposes a multi-criteria approach, whose main role is&#13;
job prioritization and FJSP optimization using a metaheuristic algorithm in a specific case&#13;
study of a furniture manufacturing company. To determine the weight coefficients, two&#13;
methods, the fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) and the fuzzy Full Consistency&#13;
Method (FFUCOM), were integrated, while the fuzzy Weighted Aggregated Sum Product&#13;
Assessment (FWASPAS) method was used for job ranking. As the next step in the study, the&#13;
NSGA II algorithm was applied to optimize FJSP. Based on the conducted case study and&#13;
production optimization, experimental results demonstrated the success of the proposed&#13;
methodology and improved the organization of production resources after job prioritization.
