Bogáth, Ágnes
Mindfulness refers to focusing on the present moment and non&#13;
judgemental awareness. It has become popular in Western society in recent decades, &#13;
particularly under the influence of positive psychology, as it has been shown to reduce &#13;
stress, anxiety and depression. Nowadays, we hear more and more about the importance of &#13;
mindfulness in more and more areas. The world of business is no exception. Numerous &#13;
international studies show the benefits of mindful presence at the level of individuals, &#13;
groups, organisations and markets. Mindfulness training in the workplace promotes &#13;
emotional intelligence and team dynamics. The practice of mindfulness is not just a stress &#13;
management tool, but a way of life that improves managers' self-awareness, sense of &#13;
responsibility and quality of relationships. In this paper, I would like to provide insights on &#13;
how this method can be applied in leadership development to increase effectiveness.

This study investigates the impact of mobile applications on the sharing &#13;
economy and consumer attitudes towards environmentally conscious practices. Utilising a &#13;
structured questionnaire distributed via Google Forms, data was collected from 160 &#13;
respondents between October and November 2023. The findings reveal a significant &#13;
awareness of various mobile applications aimed at promoting sustainability, with Vinted, &#13;
MOL Bubi, and Munch being the most recognised amongst users. Despite a self-reported &#13;
inclination towards environmental consciousness, the study indicates a disconnect between &#13;
awareness and actual usage of these applications. The results suggest that factors such as &#13;
limited availability, lack of promotion, and personal preferences significantly influence the &#13;
adoption of sharing economy services. Future research is recommended to expand the &#13;
dataset and explore additional applications to gain a more nuanced understanding of &#13;
consumer behaviour in this evolving economic landscape. This paper contributes to the &#13;
discourse on the sharing economy by highlighting the challenges and opportunities &#13;
presented by mobile technology in fostering sustainable practices.

<title>Consumer trust as a competitive advantage in the retail sector</title>

Piricz, Noémi
The issue of consumer trust is a very popular topic in the literature, but &#13;
its approach from the perspective of competitive advantage is rare. Having a competitive &#13;
advantage is important because it plays a key role in the long-term success of a company &#13;
and in strengthening its market position. Competitive advantage models traditionally focus &#13;
on costs and brand awareness and neglect soft factors. Yet both virtual and physical stores &#13;
can rely on consumer trust in them. Barney's VRIO analysis explores the relationship &#13;
between VRIO and competitive advantage. The basic premise of the model is that &#13;
resources that are valuable, scarce, difficult to replicate and embedded in the organisation &#13;
are closely linked to a company's competitive advantage. In our study, we use qualitative &#13;
methodology and VRIO analysis to show how consumer trust can help small retail firms to &#13;
operate. We find that high consumer trust contributes to strengthen a business in an almost &#13;
invisible way. After all, the right level of consumer trust can give any organisation a &#13;
significant competitive advantage and boost its results.

Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) integrates sustainable &#13;
practices throughout supply chains, addressing environmental, economic, and social &#13;
concerns. This study examines the implementation of GSCM across various industries, &#13;
including lumber, steel, electronics, automotive, construction, and food. It analyses key &#13;
frameworks such as the triple bottom line, cradle-to-cradle, and circular economy. &#13;
Industry case studies reveal common themes, such as waste reduction, eco-friendly &#13;
sourcing, and process optimization. However, differences also emerge due to sector&#13;
specific challenges, including resource constraints and unique operational needs. The &#13;
lessons learned emphasize the importance of stakeholder collaboration, innovative &#13;
solutions, and targeted strategies to overcome barriers like high costs and limited &#13;
infrastructure. These insights provide best practices for aligning GSCM with sustainability &#13;
goals, fostering both economic resilience and environmental stewardship.
